Description

Scotland's national LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) pride festival is a traditional pride march and rally, and a community based festival. The festival, held in Edinburgh every two years, encompasses live music, DJs and a health and community fair.

Timetable

  • 12:00: Assemble outside Edinburgh Council HQ in East Market Street.
  • 12:30: Speeches from our Invited Guests
  • 13:00: March moves off
  • 14:00: Arrive Omni Centre - performances by Loud and Proud Choir, close harmony trio Grace Under Pressure and other local musicians
  • 13:00-16:30: Health and Community Fair Omni Centre, 28 Greenside Row (Fully Accessible Venue)

Opi Tea dance

Enjoy the Order of Perpetual Indulgence's Tea Dance at Mood Nightclub, 1 Greenside Place. Open from 14:30-16:30. Unlicensed - open to everybody. Free tea and sandwiches  (donation possible).

The Pride Scotia Kids' Space is open 12:00-16:30 and is provided free of charge.
