About the Park

Vogrie (boggy place) is a rural, community park in a Victorian estate in Gorebridge to the southeast of Edinburgh. Has 11.5 miles of footpaths through parkland, woodland and the River Tyne valley.

Vogrie House, built in 1876 in the Victorian baronial style, is set more or less in the centre of the park.

The park has ranger-led walks, a miniature railway, 9-hole golf course, Cedar Tree cafe and soft play area and bbq hire.

Events and festivals can be found here throughout the year.

Vogrie was designated Scotland's second country park in 1982.
