St Cecilia’s Hall the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland, and the second oldest (after Oxford’s Holywell Room) in the British Isles holds its annual celebration of local and community music-making. This is St Cecilia's third Big Celebration Day.

The free, all day drop-in event will include an eclectic programme with the following acts in chronological order between 1pm and 5.50pm:

  1. Carlos Zapata Carratala – Harpsichord player
  2. Dave BeMac– Multi instrumentalist
  3. Saxophone Quartet
  4. Bristo Community Concert Band
  5. Bharat Collective – Middle Eastern music
  6. Edinburgh Young Musicians Choir plus String Quartet and Recorder Group
  7. Magnus Turpie – Accordion player
  8. Professors of Logic – an eclectic mix of Country, blues, Trad and Cajun
