Homemade delights and Christmas gifts to raise money for Scottish Seabird Centre. The invaluable volunteers at the award-winning Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick, are hosting a festive-themed coffee morning to raise funds for the Centre.
Visitors to the Hope Rooms on Forth Street, North Berwick can enjoy all sorts of yuletide treats including home-baking, Christmas gifts and a prize raffle.
Everything for sale will be donated by the volunteers and available will be a range of gifts including toiletries, soft toys and books, ensuring affordable Christmas gifts can be found for people of all ages. The raffle will also feature donations from the volunteers, and will include the chance to win further yuletide treats including wine, chocolates and biscuits.
The highlight of the event will be the home-baking, freshly prepared by the volunteers. Everyone with a sweet tooth will have the chance to enjoy scones, meringues and fruit bread.
Sandy Forrest, Chair of the Scottish Seabird Centre volunteers, said: “We hope that people across the region pop in to our Christmas Coffee Morning – the volunteers at the Centre have really pulled together for this event and it’s a fantastic chance for people to indulge or tick off some more items from their Christmas shopping list. There will be plenty of treats to keep Santa happy too!”
