The needles may still be intact on the Christmas trees, Santa notes may still be being written and not one cracker has been pulled but The King’s Theatre Edinburgh is ahead of the game. A full year before the opening of this year’s panto extravaganza that is Jack and the Beanstalk, it announces Cinderella as the pantomime for 2017/ 18 starring Edinburgh panto legends Allan Stewart, Andy Gray and Grant Stott.
Michael Harrison, Managing Director of Qdos Entertainment, producers of the show said, “Our much-loved Edinburgh trio of … Allan and Andy as Cinderella’s Fairy Godparents and Grant as the Wicked Stepmother, it promises to be another hilarious King’s panto full of comedy gold, madness and mayhem.”
With over 90,000 theatregoers attending pantomime at The King’s Theatre Edinburgh each festive season, it’s never too early to book for next year’s show when Cinders goes from rags to riches, outwits her very ugly sisters and meets her dashing Prince Charming!
Cinderella goes on sale to Friends & Groups on Monday 6 February 2017, and on General Sale from Monday 13 February 2017. Tickets can be booked on 0131 529 6000 or online at www.edtheatres.com/cinderella
