Description
We’re counting down to the re-opening of the National Museum of Scotland. Join the street party on Chambers Street on Friday 29 July from 9:15am to celebrate the grand opening on Friday the 29th of July. There will be on street entertainment with family activities.
The new museum will allow you to explore a selection of treasures from Egyptian mummies to a life-sized cast of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Come along and discover the new bigger, better National Museum of Scotland: 16 new galleries (featuring 8,000 objects), new entrances, glass lifts and escalators and a complete new floor at street level.
