Description

Hundreds of dancers of all ages and gender, dress up in red dresses and (some) wigs, to recreate the dance in the video of Kate Bush's famous, 1978 song Wuthering Heights.

The event was originally inspired by an attempt to set a world record for the most people dressed as Kate Bush in one place at Shambush's "The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience", which took place at the Brighton Fringe 2013.

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is organised by autonomous groups of volunteers for charity and not-for-profit, and takes place on the weekend of Kate Bush's birthday (30th July) in locations around the world, including Berlin, Atlanta, Montreal, Copenhagen, Dublin, among others.

Edinburgh is expected to attract around 300 Cathies to the windswept moor of Holyrood Park with the dance scheduled to take place around 2.30pm following warm-ups and rehearsals.
