Critically acclaimed conductor and BBC Two’s The Naked Choir mentor Dominic Peckham brings his London singers to Scotland's capital to collaborate with his former choir – now led by Alistair Digges – in an evening of transcendent a capella music. Under their conductors' passionate direction, the choirs will each perform a selection of their own pieces before joining forces to create an augmented sound conveying the beauty of human voice.
Augmented Beauty will feature transcendent music from Stanford, Gibbons, Monteverdi, Ešenvalds, MacMillan, Paulus, Parry and the Scottish première of Half Moon Rising by John Winzenburg.
