Tickets are still available for two of the main events at Edinburgh’s three-day Hogmanay celebration - the Street Party and the Torchlight Procession, which kicks off this evening.
However, organiser Unique Events says there is only a “limited” number of torch vouchers and wristbands for the Torchlight Procession and it is expecting the Street Party (£25 incl booking fee) to sell out. Unique is recommending people buy and collect Street Party wristbands today, rather than wait until December 31st (details below).
Tickets for most events have sold out, including both concerts headlined by Paolo Nutini: The Night Afore Concert and Concert in the Gardens. The Candlelit Concert and the Old Town Ceilidh with Belhaven have also sold out.
New Year’s Day sold out events include Stoats Loony Dook, Scot:Lands, and The Final Fling.
The showcase Concert in the Gardens on 31 December sold out in a record three hours when they went on sale. Paolo Nutini will be joined by Lightning Seeds, The Vegan Leather and the winners of the Hog the Stage competition, Lemonhaze.
A third event for which there are still tickets available is "Tim Burgess in Conversation with Vic Galloway".
Remaining wristbands for the Street Party can be booked on-line, on the phone on 0844 573 8455 but must be collected from the Box Office on the High Street before 8.00pm on 31 December.
Limited pre-booked torch vouchers and wristbands for the Torchlight Procession are also available through the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Box Office.
