The RSNO concludes its cycle of Schumann symphonies with the composer’s Fourth. Truls Mork joins the Orchestra for the stirring, elegiac Elgar Cello Concerto – a moving, heart-breaking work. And, to bring the season to a spectacular close, Janacek’s powerful orchestral rhapsody Taras Bubla: a celebration of the insurmountable Cossack spirit. Pre-concert talk 6.45pm with Michael Tumelty
