Hopetoun House near Edinburgh hosts a spectacular new two-day event to take place on 27th and 28th of July in the grounds of Scotland’s finest stately home.
Incorporating the hugely successful International Horse Trials, the Gillespie Macandrew Hopetoun Town and Country Fair will be a showcase for sporting excellence, but also a centrepiece for the finest shopping, Scottish food and drink, live entertainment and country pursuits.
Bringing together rural and urban audiences, the event sets out to capture the essence of contemporary Scotland by offering the visitor a taste of town and country life alongside some of the country’s finest international equine sporting stars - from food to fashion, home interiors to champagne bars and outdoor activities for all.
Commenting on the new event, Lord Hopetoun said: “This is an exciting venture for Hopetoun which we believe will have huge appeal to a wide audience. Our aim is to create a weekend which combines the delight of live horse action with the more leisurely pursuits of shopping, eating and relaxing with friends.”
Tickets on the day will be £15. Advance tickets available at www.hopetoun.co.uk
