Eden Festival sounds like it should be in Edinburgh, but it's in fact a multi-day, family friendly, outdoor music and arts fest south of Edinburgh, in a tented village in the Meadows of Raehills Estate in Moffat.
Amadou & Mariam top the billing on the main stage (dubbed The Great Mountain), with a range of other music across the festival's other 11 areas: pop, world, alternative, Celtic, folk/roots, funk, electronic, spoken word.
The 2024 festival theme is Myths and Legends with a prize of 2 Weekend tickets for Eden 2025 for the best costume of the year.
It's also home to a variety of silvan inspired arts, crafts and activities. Other festival marquees cater food and drink, with areas for woodland creativity and kids play.
The Eden Festival has more than 250 acts over 10 stages, with previous artists have included Sister Sledge, Cat Power, Supergrass, Gogol Bordello, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, Gerry Cinnamon, Ezra Collective, Boney M, De La Soul, The Cat Empire, Grandmaster Flash, and Gill-Scott Heron.
