Hog the Stage Final

Hog the Stage is a new battle of the bands talent event which was launched for Hogmanay 2010-2011.

Hundreds of bands applied online with a shortlist of five bands set for tonight's finals:

1. Come On Gang!
2. The Stagger Rats
3. Pooch
4. Jakil
5. Kitty the Lion

Bands will perform to a Scottish music industry panel: Ed Stack from Ten Tracks, Dave Kerr, Music Editor from The Skinny, and Vic Galloway BBC Radio DJ.

The best band on the night, chosen by the panel and the audience, will get to Hog the ‘Edinburgh’s Hogmanay’ Stage, joining the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay bill of artists including festival headliners Biffy Clyro.
