You thought it was over? Seems BAA, who run Edinburgh Airport, are still getting to grips with the local snow. The airport was closed again early yesterday after a larger than expected overnight snowfall.
It was the eighth closure at Scotland's busiest airport, since the heavy snowfalls of late November.
The airport announced the closures just after 2am and it re-opened around ten hours later.
"Due to the overnight and continued efforts of our snow team, we've cleared 4 inches of snow from the runway and we're open," EDI tweeted at noon. However, 20 departures and 16 arrivals had to be cancelled, and two flights diverted to other airports.
The Met Office's weather forecast is for temperatures of around zero to 2C today, with skies clearing in the afternoon.
