W Edinburgh

Landmark, 12-storey hotel in the newly built St James Quarter retail mall in central Edinburgh. The controversial architectural design, with its distinctive, spiral shape is visible above historic New Town rooftops and from nearby Calton Hill, giving it the nickname among some of "Edinburgh's poo".

The W Edinburgh is set to open in winter 2023, with rooftop bar, chef’s table and outdoor terrace, and fusion restaurant Sushi Samba offering a blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture and cuisine.

The hotel will also offer a spa, and five meeting rooms for hire on two levels. It will also operate a 24-hour business centre, branded as "Wired".
