BBC Radio 4's popular gardening programme Gardener's Question Time will be recording its next show at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh's Summer Garden Party this afternoon.
The Garden Party itself runs from 10am to 5pm, with live entertainment, hands-on demos, and advice from a host of gardening experts, including GQT's Bob Flowerdew, Bunny Guinness, Matthew Wilson, Pippa Greenwood, Anne Swithinbank, Matthew Biggs and Chairmen Eric Robson and Peter Gibbs. They'll be joined by the star of the BBC's Beechgrove Garden, Jim McColl.
There will be two recordings of GQT at the Garden Party, with the Beeb broadcasting highlights in a 43-minute GQT show on Friday 15th July at 3pm (repeated Sunday 17th at 2pm) and Friday 22nd July at 3pm (repeated Sunday 24th at 2pm).
The BBC website also archives shows via podcast.
Those hoping to get a seat in the audience should note that, due to space limitations, entrance to the main marquee recordings of GQT will be on a first-come-first-served basis to Garden Party ticketholders.
