Description
Stornoway-based folk rockers Peat and Diesel will be bringing their home-spun, Western Isles rock to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay for the first time on the 30th.
Described as a Scottish Pogues, the threesome were happily performing as a pub band on the Isle of Lewis in 2018 and almost accidentally became a nationwide sensation, performing at Glastonbury and headlining Celtic Connections. A good craic guaranteed.
Peat & Diesel will be joined at the 5,000 capacity show by Ullapool accordionist Ruairidh MacLean, ‘RuMac’, with some radge covers.
