Night Afore Disco Party

The Night Afore Disco Dance Party returns for a third year with a family-friendly party in Princes Street gardens, part of the 4-day Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2024/2025 winter festival.

It comes the day before the main Hogmanay celebration, the Street Party, which also takes place in the city centre. 

Headlining is Aussie DJ act Hot Dub Time Machine, returning to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay for the first time in a decade.

His ‘dance through the decades’ audio-visual party in West Princes Street Gardens will be supported by The Cuban Brothers and Edinburgh funk trio High Fade.

• Gates: 5:30pm
• Stage Live: 6:35pm
• Ends: 10:30pm

There are two main entrances into the Night Afore Disco Party arena in West Princes Street Gardens and a designated Accessible Entrance:

• The Mound Entrance Gate (West Princes Street Garden Floral Clock)
• Princes Street West End Gate (West End of Princes Street)
• Accessible Entrance via King’s Stables Road / St. Cuthberts Church
