This Spanish restaurant, on the edge of the Edinburgh New Town and near the Royal Botanic Garden, serves some most excellent sea food. The exterior and plain interior disguise a restaurant of real worth. The key to the high standard of food set by Juan Blanco, the proprietor who acts as the chef, is the excellence of his fish which he clearly takes considerable trouble to select. There is a wide-ranging tapas menu and also deserts including Spanish pasteries which are very tasty. Not cheap but good value for high quality food.
