Working artists' shop found 13 steps down from street level, in the basement of a typical New Town tenement building.
Originally, named Adam Pottery after Janet Adam, who started the pottery in 1983, the workshop now specialises in contemporary ceramics with working studios for making and teaching. The present studio is run by Andrea Scholes and Geoff Calder, both graduates in Contemporary Ceramics Practice.
As well as an open gallery, visitors are welcomed to look around the workshops, see work in progress, or discuss commissions.
