Premier Inn City Centre Princes Street

One of several Edinburgh hotels from the budget Premier Inn chain, located smack in the centre of the New Town on bustling Princes Street. Ideal for those on foot, or coming by train, but not accessible by car (you will have to park at Castle Terrace car park off Lothian Rd).

The hotel has a mix of singles and family suites. As with other Premier Inn hotels has an on-site restaurant/bar, for light snacks and an all-you-can-eat breakfast for an additional fee.

If you are fortunate to get a room with a window facing south, the view of Edinburgh Castle is hard to beat and much sought-after for events like the annual Hogmanay festival and the Edinburgh International Festival's Fireworks Concert. However, not all of the rooms offer a view.
