The Noisettes will support headlining act Madness at the Concert in the Gardens on Thursday 31 December 2009, organisers of Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2010 announced today.
The Noisettes have achieved top ten success in the last year with their album ‘Wild Young Hearts' which includes hit singles ‘Never Forget You' and ‘Don't Upset the Rhythm (Go Baby Go)'.

We're gonna make it a very special show indeed! Love, the Noisettes," the Noisettes said in a release.
At the main Street Party there will be special guest DJ Sets from Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody & Tom Simpson and Belle and Sebastian's Richard Colburn, these sets will take place on the West End DJ Stage alongside a rare performance from DJ Stage headliner Mylo at the Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party from 9pm on Thursday 31 December 2009 to 1am on Friday 1 January 2010.

Tickets to bring in the bells with Noisettes and Madness at the Concert in the Gardens against the spectacular backdrop of Edinburgh Castle; tickets for the world famous Street Party where DJ Sets from Gary and Tom (Snow Patrol) and Richard Colburn (Belle and Sebastian) and Mylo will be joined by many other artists, still to be announced; and tickets for the traditional open-air ceilidh, The Keilidh, are all on sale now.
The Concert in the Gardens, the Street Party and The Keilidh form part of the five days of Edinburgh's Hogmanay which starts with on Tuesday 29 December with the Torchlight Procession and runs until Saturday 2 January and the premiere of Off Kilter, a new dance and music extravaganza at the Festival Theatre with 6 performances over 5 days from Tuesday 29 December to Saturday 2 January 2010.
Festival organisers will announce the full programme details early in November.
