Paolo Nutini will headline this year's flagship Edinburgh's Hogmanay event, the Concert in the Garden, on 31st December, in what will be his only festival performance in 2016.
Among the other musicians performing at the Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party are The Charlatans, Salsa Celtica, Manran, Guilty Pleasures, James Brown is Annie, Brass Gumbo and Blues n Trouble.
The programme for this year's 3-day Hogmanay festival kicks off, as in previous years, with the Torchlight Procession, which this year sees the introduction of an arm band system due to its increasing popularity. Last year, the event attracted around 40,000 people.
The more traditional, but always popular, Old Town Ceilidh, which takes place outside in Parliament Square in Edinburgh's Old Town, also returns as does the curated, arts crawl on New Year's Day Scot:Lands.
Crazy people can also take an ocean dip on the first day of the year in the Loony Dook.
Hogmanay organisers have also introduced Sprogmanay a strand of free activities for children too young to enjoy the traditional Hogmanay parties.
Tickets for the Street Party are already out and tickets to other Edinburgh's Hogmanay events such as the Concert in the Garden, Old Town Ceilidh, and Loony Dook go on sale online at 10am on Friday, 30th September.
