It is time for your Appointment. Come to the Underbelly Cowgate Box Office. Meet the enigmatic attendant (Lyra Levin). Choose an offering. Knock.
A legendary show touted by devout fans of immersive theatre, this play for one audience member will carve you open, with your consent, of course. Prepare to partake honestly; you may surprise yourself. The air within the space is rapt with eerie tension and infinite possibility. This is a thriller of your own design.
Blindfolded, enter into what could be called an introspection on amphetamines … or a deal with the devil? In fear of divulging too much, there won’t be any more description here, per instructions of the first rule to which I agreed: what happens at Undersigned will never leave the room (rule number two); it stays between you and… That is, if you’re lucky enough to be granted an invitation for your one and only visit (rule number five: you can never return). Know that you will receive exactly as much as you put in, in more ways than one. Written and produced by Yannick Trapman-O’Brien, “Management” has delivered this delectably intimate piece to three years of sell-out runs for audiences in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Boston. This is their international debut featuring audio design contribution by Josh Davidoff, key prop fabrication by Christian Vernon and object narrative and fabrication by Peter Droste.
