Description

As part of the official Edinburgh's Hogmanay programme, this event offers a more meditative way to close the auld year and look to the new.

The festive celebration will bring together music for brass, choir and organ in St Giles’ Cathedral.

This year’s concert marks the festive season with the last three cantatas from J.S.Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.

St Giles’ Cathedral Choir, directed by Michael Harris, with the St Giles’ Camerata, leader Angus Ramsay, are joined by an array of talented young soloists.

The concert will be Master of Music Michael Harris's last before retirement from St. Giles’ on 31st December.
