Description
Edinburgh marks UK-wide Bike Week with its Festival of Cycling. After coming together in 2013, in 2014 the Festival of Cycling offered over 80 individual events at 46 different venues.
The festival includes rides open to all ages and experience, workshops, talks, and cultural events all with a cycling related theme.
As an awareness raising exercise previous Bike Weeks have been disappointingly low-key (typical case of being run on good intentions and little cash), but highlights to look out for around this time include the SPOKES Bike Breakfast at City Chambers, the Edinburgh to St Andrews Bike Ride, and the World Naked Bike Ride in Edinburgh.
