The Di Maggio group is constantly evolving to offer a diverse selection of European cuisine from award winning Italian pizzas to Surf 'n Turf across their range of restaurants. Newly opened above Café Andaluz, the Spanish Tapas Bistro on George Street, is Cadiz which celebrates Scottish seafood complemented by cool cocktails.
Cadiz occupies an elegant space across two adjoining rooms, furnished with comfortable banquette seating as well as tables lined up along the tall windows. The Bar has a row of stools (drinkers welcome without dining), and around the walls see the work of artist Florence Super who was commissioned to create giant paintings of colourful fish and lobsters. These are created using acrylic on timber, reminiscent of drift wood or a beach boardwalk. This is the place for Pescatarians to sample shellfish bisque, Cumbrae Oysters, Shetland Mussels, Sea Bass, Lobster .. as well as Fish and chips.
