Cannonball House

A 15th century tenement house at the top of the Royal Mile, just below Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, that has a (visible) cannon ball lodged in its outer wall. The cannon ball marks the height of the city's first piped water brought to Edinburgh Old Town.

Inside is the three-storey Contini Edinburgh Canonball restaurant and bar. As well as food, the whisky bar boasts over 120 malts.

A private event space, The Glengoyne Room, is also available for exclusive use for private dining, whisky tastings, and functions.
