About the venue
The Sky Gardens, at the Fringe 2010, is a new concept in dining: you are seated at a 22-seater table which is then hoisted by crane 100 feet above the ground in West Princes Street Gardens. The pie-in-the-sky experience has toured cities around the world so there must be takers for this high-flying, dining ritual. The "flights" appear to include much more palatable food than your average aircraft fare: menus for breakfast, lunch, and high tea features gourmet Scottish food, prepared by Cook School Scotland and their 3 Michelin starred Chef Steven Doherty. Expect to pay that wee bit more for the view.
