About the venue

Six miles from Edinburgh city centre, Newhailes House is a National Trust for Scotland property which nestles in 34 acres of woodland and parkland.

Dating to the 17th century, this Palladian-style house enjoys over 300 years of history.

The grounds offer pleasant walks, with unspoilt views across the River Forth. The fields have been historically farmed and grazed for many years and are used to grow barley with wide borders of wildflowers. There is also a small apiary.

For children, there is the Weehailes playground, with zipline, fire pole, tunnel, bridge, and houses, designed for 3–12 year-olds.

Food and drink available at the café or coffee shop.

The venue is available for private hire.
