Assembly Hall :: 35

The Assembly Hall is in the neo-gothic building situated directly East of Edinburgh Castle. With twin turrets forking above the skyline it is clearly visible as you climb up the Mound.

Tropically themed bar just off Bristo Square in the heart of the Edinburgh University area. DJs, veggie and vegan soul food, beer and cocktails.

Le Monde :: 47

Boutique hotel in Edinburgh's historic New Town, and home to the Shanghai nightclub and also a restaurant.

The 100-seater, air conditioned, basement space in Le Monde is a Fringe venue in August.

Bedlam Theatre :: 49

Scotland's oldest student run theatre is a 90-seat auditorium in a converted church near Greyfriar's Bobby and the National Museum of Scotland.

Celtic Lodge (C Cubed) :: 50

The sixteenth-century Celtic Lodge at Brodie's Close. As well as a masonic lodge, this is the home of C Cubed during the Fringe in August.

The Jazz Bar :: 57
