With cycling season now upon us we follow up the St Andrews bike ride video with another less established Edinburgh bike ride, the World Naked Bike Ride.
The first of two videos on the Edinburgh World Naked Bike Ride 2010. The ride takes place in cities across the globe each June to highlight the vulnerability of cyclists on the open road. In Edinburgh, much of the coverage of the ride has revolved around the legality of public nudity. In this first video, we see riders prepare for the ride and Giselle Wajdner, one of the organisers of the ride, explains how much flesh they are allowed to flash.
In the second Naked Bike Ride video clip, participants talk about how the ride went.
