Organisers of Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party, which is now just over a week away, have announced that this year's allocation of £10 Street Party passes are now sold out.
However, revellers can still get tickets for the Street Party
by buying a Pass Plus package, which for £17 includes a Street Party Pass and commemorative Edinburgh's Hogmanay 08/09 saltire hat.
As well as Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party, there are 4 paid-for events that still have availability, including the Concert in the Gardens (Garden tickets only remain), the Glayva Ceilidh in the Gardens, The Hoog and Boogie Wonderland. Buying tickets for these events also includes entry into the Street Party.
Edinburgh's Hogmanay is launching a ‘four for three' ticket promotion for the "disco-tastic" Boogie Wonderland which promises "a night of funky 70's fun, flares and flashbacks as well as the return of Silent Disco," a hit during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Getting Hogmanay Tickets
Pass Plus and other tickets can be bought at the Edinburgh's Hogmanay box office.
They can also be purchased or picked up
at the Box Office in East Princes Street Gardens until 30th December.
Last minute passes can be bought or collected from the St Andrew Square Box Office on 31st December from 10am right up to 10pm.
This year's street party features acts like Glasvegas, Attic Lights, Hot Chip, The Complete Stone Roses, The Hoosiers, Peatbog Faeries, Michelle McManus and Broken Records.
Hogmanay organisers say that when the 2008/9 Street Party Passes first went on sale at an early bird rate of £5 in October, over 10,000 were scooped up in just six hours.
