It’s only March, but already the Lyceum has Christmas in its sights!
This winter season, the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh is presenting C S Lewis’ classic tale The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe that will be adapted for the stage by Theresa Heskins.
Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter and journey to a spectacular world of mythical creatures, sparkling spells and an epic battle between good and evil. Step through a dusty wardrobe filled with fur coats and into a thrilling adventure. Meet the majestic Aslan, the loveable Mr Tumnus and his fantastical friends and join their quest to free Narnia from the spell of the White Witch.
Andrew Panton who also directed previous Lyceum Christmas shows, The BFG, A Christmas Carol says, "Narnia has always been a special magical place for me. The stories of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe continue to enchant and captivate children (of all ages) and I can't wait to bring the story to the Lyceum stage this December"
Looks like fun in store ahead!
