Following his recent Golden Lion win for Lust, Caution at the Venice Film Festival, this Friday director Ang Lee will be appearing by satellite in a post-screening Q&A of his most recent film at the Cameo Cinema.
Lust, Caution is a political thriller set in Shanghai during the Second World War. In it Lee revisits some of the themes of his earlier films - Brokeback Mountain, The Ice Storm, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - with its darkly textured tale of obsession and questions about the nature of love and desire.
Lee will be beamed in live from The Gate cinema in London's Notting Hill on Friday 14 December 2007. Doors 6.15pm, film 6.30pm.
