This is a short duration performance, 5 minutes to be precise. There's a single female character performing in an indeterminate room somewhere. They appear emotionally lost and isolated. They are physically sick with an illness with no cure, and they have turned to the self-help gurus and their banal books giving advice and guidance for anyone prepared to fork over the money for the price of the publication.
There's an ambiguity to the setting and situation which is more due to the short duration than any other factor. The performance has touches of pathos and humour.
A disembodied voice speaks of what really matters in people's lives and shortfall of the gurus is exposed.
There's an insufficiency here, not of talent or purpose, but frankly time, I was left wanting more and 5 minutes only began to open this interpreting door.
