Following their epic sellout last year, the Ginge, the Geordie and the Geek return with a brand new show.
Their title is a little misleading, suggesting cheap gags and perhaps something mildly offensive.
Instead I witness an hour of incredible fast-paced fun, with jokes so charmingly simple it’s hard not to fall for them. The Ginge, the Geordie and the Geek keep all punches above the waist, finding humour in the most benign of places and adding a furry prop or two.
Merging the performance standard of a West End show with the speed of a sitcom is alone a fete to witness; each sketch runs seamlessly together, despite many only lasting seconds. Most of the content involves some form of ridiculous costume, which they wear poker-faced and professional as ever. The three mix fairy-tale, theatrical and everyday life to produce hilarious hybrids of each.
It’s an absolute cracker of a show, with boundless energy to set you up for a great night at the Fringe.
