Swiss Ambassador’s Award Concert with Trio Rafale

Swiss trio make Scottish debut in Edinburgh for Swiss Ambassador’s Award Concert: an annual showcase of talented young musicians with a classical and contemporary repertoire.

Trio Rafale from Switzerland will make its Scottish debut with Beethoven’s Piano Trio in C minor, Brahms’ Piano Trio No. 2 in C major, and Jannik Giger’s contemporary piece ‘Caprice’ (2013).

Founded in Zurich in 2009 by Maki Wiederkehr (piano), Daniel Meller (violin) and Flurin Cuonz (cello), Trio Rafale has already won numerous international awards and prizes, including First Prize at the 8th Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in May this year.
