Annual Christmas parade through Stockbridge and Comely Bank out to Inverleith Park, organised by charity Great Scottish Events.
The parade is on the Saturday, starting at Saunders Street (street adjacent to where the Stockbridge Market takes place).
Santa appears in a sleigh drawn by live reindeer.
After arriving at Inverleith Park around 11.30am, contestants - many in fancy dress - will take part in a Christmas 10k Walk.
On Sunday, there are more competitions at Inverleith Park:
- Edinburgh Christmas 5k Run at 09.30am
- Edinburgh Christmas 10k Run at 11.00am
- Santa Toddle
There is a unique medal for all entrants for the run and walks.
All runners will be chip timed. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each category.
Inverleith Park will also have a Santa’s Grotto for the little ones open on both days.
