The Foodies Christmas Festival returns for a second year, with an additional day in 2010, of live cookery demos of favourite seasonal dishes. Tony Borthwick of The Plumed Horse is one of the star chefs giving culinary demos at the Assembly Rooms food and drink show along with fellow Michelin-starred chef Craig Dunn of Aboad Glasgow.
As well as sample dishes and over 100 seasonal food and drink stalls, masterclasses will cover chocolate tasting, champagne sipping, canapé making, cocktail mixing, mulled wine-making, and cooking lessons for kids.
Mulled wine, carol singing and Christmas tree lights will set the mood.
Foodies director Sue Hitchen suggests that the Foodies Christmas Festival is a great opportunity to find "exclusive seasonal produce and festive culinary inspiration".
