A colourful plethora of events, talks and fashion shows have been taking place during the Edinburgh Art Festival to complement the Coming into Fashion exhibition.
If you have not yet seen these glamorous vintage Vogue Portraits at the City Art Centre, do get along there soon, before it ends on 8 September.
A special Charity Catwalk show takes place on Thursday 5 September (7-9pm) in aid of Cancer Research UK. Organised through the very proactive shop in Stockbridge, the evening will be a lively event taking over all the floors of the gallery.
Starting at 7pm, you will have time to see the Coming into Fashion photographs and the associated Dressed to Kill exhibition of paintings and portraits - such as the glamorous lady in The Black Hat by Cadell.
Models will then parade down the Catwalk to show off a range of stylish, seasonal clothes all donated to the Cancer Research shop in Stockbridge and other branches.
Then time for retail therapy at the Pop Up Cancer Research charity shop on the 5th floor - a tempting, enticing boutique of clothes (for women and men), shoes, bags and accessories.
Live music from a string quartet and a choir will entertain guests as they browse around the art exhibitions and clothes show.
This fabulous & fun charity event is described as a free flowing organic fashion and art experience around the City Art Centre.
What a wonderful way to support Cancer Research UK. See you there!
