31st Annual FIRST Conference 2019

Description

The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), will host its 31st Annual Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in Edinburgh, UK from 16th-21st June 2019. The 2019 event is themed “Defending the Castle” and will promote worldwide coordination and cooperation among Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs).

The five-day conference will explore a variety of themes. From the security implications of the Internet of Things to identifying how to anticipate what an attacker might do to a system and avoid it. Speakers throughout the week will include Ken Munro of Pen Test Partners, Dr Leonie Tanczer, Assistant Professor at University College London and Monica Whitty, Professor and Cyberpsychologist at University of Warwick, among many more of the leading computer security specialists.
AUDIENCE:
Open to all individuals with an interest, involvement or responsibility in the field of incident response and computer security. Registration is open to both FIRST members and non-members.
