I went with a small group of people for dinner to this friendly welcoming restaurant. Some of us went for starter and main course, and others for main course and dessert.
The mixed bruschetta with tomatoes, garlic, basil, porcini mushrooms and parmesan was delicious. My friends were cooing over the Gamberoni in Camicia, little filo parcels of prawns with tomato and basil sauce. Some of us had chargrilled tuna with roasted vegetables which was mouthwatering delicious. The Spaghetti alla Carbona and the Linguine pasta with seafood, white wine and chillis were declared average.
There was a good selection of homemade icecream and sorbets, and the Tiramisu looked very appetising. I had Frangipani tart which was excellent.
Wine started at about £18 a bottle.
The service was excellent and the modern ambience was pleasant. I would certainly go back to this restaurant.
