This is a seafood restaurant, but you can get meat and vegetarian meals too. Loch Fyne Edinburgh is situated by the docks at Granton and of an evening you can see beautiful sunsets over the Firth of Forth. It is a lovely setting and if the weather is clement you can eat outside on the terrace with the view of bobbing boats and gannets flying home for supper. The food is good and not expensive. The service is friendly and helpful.
Currently, Friday nights it includes a jazz trio from 7 to 10pm, very much adding to the meal experience. The Dougie Campbell trio, also featuring Kenny Ellis and Roger Cull, are playing for the next 4 weeks on Fridays, and then on selected dates thereafter. A highly recommended way to chill into the weekend. Top grading.
