Popular, family-run Italian restaurant founded by Franco and Fabio Martone, inspired by their grandmother's traditional, rural Italian recipes.
The brothers adhere to an ethos of using simple, fresh ingredients and home-made pasta, but allow themselves to also experiment with classic Italian dishes, with a Haggis Ravioli with whisky cream sauce a particular stand-out.
Fabio also makes the restaurant's own ice cream each day, with traditional flavours like pistachio competing with experimental flavours from donut to mascarpone and balsamic. The ice cream is made with "zero nasties or preservatives".
The restaurant is on two floors, and open til late.
