Meeting point for Fringe walking tour Darwin in Edinburgh, which explores what influence Edinburgh had on the author of On the Origin of Species during his time here.

Darwin neglected his medical studies while a student at what was one of the best medical universities in the world, but became deeply involved with botany, natural history and exploring evolutionary ideas.

Described as "a blend of walking tour and immersive theatre", the show retraces Darwin's steps to explore the locations and characters that influenced Darwin’s own evolution here in Edinburgh.
