The EICC is Edinburgh's main conference centre. A short walk from Festival Square and Haymarket Station, the EICC opened in 1995, and attracts several hundred thousand delegates to the Scottish capital in a typical year.
The EICC is a company with a single shareholder, The City of Edinburgh Council.
As well as hosting large-scale business, academic, and corporate related events, the purpose-built conference centre also hosts the annual Big Comedy Gala in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and Pleasance Kids shows during the Fringe in August.
The conference centre's Lennox Suite has a 1400-raked seating auditorium which transforms into 3 separate auditoria "at the touch of a button".
The EICC also offers banqueting in its Cromdale Hall for up to 850 people or 2000 square metres of exhibition space, as well as 4 suites that can be subdivided to create 11 meeting rooms.
