About the venue
Large Edinburgh University building at the corner of South Bridge and Chamber street in mock Georgian style.
Hosts student events such as exams, exhibitions, night clubs, and performances throughout the year. It has been a Fringe venue for C Venues and in 2022 was taken on by Gilded Balloon and rebranded the Patter Hoose.
The building, which was built after the Second World War, has a small theatre, the Adam House Theatre.
