Harrison Park is a 7 ha (17 acre), community park in Shandon, an area of Edinburgh to the south west of the city centre.
The park is split by Harrison road into East and West Harrison Park. Uniquely the park is situated right beside the Union Canal, a working canal with a tow path that is a popular, walking-cycling route into Edinburgh. The canal runs down the eastern perimeter of the park.
Mostly used by the local community, Harrison Park has 4 football fields, children's playgrounds, a meadow, gardens and tree-lined pathways.
The park is managed by Edinburgh City Council with input from Friends of Harrison Park, community groups and local residents.
With its good mix of quiet, green space, play areas, and sports fields - as well as the nearby canal - it's a popular community park.
Harrison Park is a Green Flag park.
