How do you add an image to a review or article?
The two preferred methods are:
1. Use an image that is already on the site
2. Add a new image
In both instances you will be using the "attached images" field which is located under the text pane on the submission page. Click the link to expand the attached images section.
Using method 1 (using an existing image)
Select the image from the menu. Tip: there are a lot of images. If you know the title of the image because you saw it in the photo gallery then hold the key on the keyboard for the first letter (e.g. if it is called "EIF 2009: Hamlet" then hold down 'E') to skip to the Es quickly
Using method 2 (adding your own image)
Before you start try to get an image that is landscape (rather than portrait) in format if possible as this works best on the home page. It should also be at least as wide as the main home page image.
Click on browse and find the image on your computer. The image should be under 2MB.
Give the image a title. That's it.
When you submit the review the image will be automatically formatted to the appropriate proportions.
Types of image
For festival reviews you need a production still. No production posters or fliers for reviews please.
To fit in with our design, please also try and add one that is in a landscape rather than landscape format (wide rather than long).
